Author Guidelines
This section (“For Authors”) contains the Authors Guidelines, submission instructions, and publication rules.
1. Publication Languages
- Articles in Kazakh, Russian, and English. are accepted for publication.
2. General Requirements
Only original manuscripts are accepted for consideration, which:
- have not been previously published;
- are not under consideration by other journals;
- comply with the text originality requirements: the manuscript must demonstrate at least 65% originality, the acceptable level of text similarity must not exceed 25%, and AI-generated content must not exceed 20%.
3. Types of Submissions
The journal accepts:
- original research articles;
- review articles.
4. Manuscript structure
Authors are encouraged to format the manuscript according to the international IMRAD structure. The main sections of the article are:
- Introduction;
- Literature Review;
- Materials and Methods;
- Results and Discussion;
- Conclusion;
- References.
5. Title Page
The title page must be prepared in three languages on separate pages and should contain the following sections:
- Thematic area;
- IRSTI and JEL codes;
- Full names of the authors and their affiliations. Each author’s ORCID must be provided as an active ORCID icon (green ORCID logo) with a hyperlink to the individual ORCID profile. The corresponding author must be marked with an asterisk (*);
- Title of the manuscript;
- Abstract: 150–200 words;
- Keywords: 5–8 words or phrases;
- Conflict of interest;
- Funding and acknowledgements;
- Disclosure of the use of artificial intelligence technologies;
- Recommended citation;
- A footnote containing the corresponding author’s details: full name and e-mail address.
Font: Calibri (main text), without paragraph indentation. Author names must be formatted in 12 pt bold font and aligned to the left. The manuscript title must be formatted in 16 pt bold font and aligned to the left. All other sections must be formatted in 10 pt font.
6. Manuscript Length and Formatting Requirements
- The manuscript must contain no fewer than 4,000 words and no more than 8,000 words (excluding author information, abstract, keywords, and references).
- File format: Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx)
- File size: no more than 2 MB
- Font: Times New Roman
- Main text font size: 12 pt
- Line spacing: single
- Margins: 2 cm on all sides
- Alignment: justified
- Paragraph indent: 1 cm
- Section headings must be in uppercase letters and bold font.
7. Figures, Tables, and Formulas
- All figures and tables must be numbered and provided with titles.
- Figures must be of high quality and suitable for printing.
- Tables must be editable and prepared using Microsoft Word tools.
- Formulas should be prepared using Microsoft Equation or MathType.
8. Citations and References
- In-text citations must follow the APA 7th edition.
- The reference list must contain at least 15 sources.
- At least 5 sources must be international.
- The allowable level of self-citation must not exceed 20%.
- For Russian- and Kazakh-language sources, transliteration is mandatory using the following specialized services: for Russian – http://translit.net; for Kazakh – https://qazlat.kz
- In English-language manuscripts, when sources in other languages are used, an English translation must be provided in square brackets after the transliterated bibliographic reference (for Cyrillic sources). At the end of the reference, the original language of the source must be indicated in parentheses, for example: (In Russian), (In Kazakh)
- The reference list must be arranged alphabetically by the surname of the first author. Sources in Latin script should be listed first, followed by sources in Cyrillic script
- In the reference list, the titles of journals, books, collections, dissertations, reports, conference proceedings, as well as the volume number of a scientific journal, must be italicized
- Where available, DOI or URL links for electronic resources must be provided as active hyperlinks
9. Author Information
After the reference list, information about the authors must be provided in three languages, including the full name and surname (in the corresponding language), academic degree or qualification, full name of the organization indicating the city and country, as well as an active e-mail address and an active hyperlink to the ORCID profile.
10. Submission of Manuscripts
Manuscripts are submitted through the journal’s online system.
The editorial board strongly recommends that authors use the article template available on the journal website, as a mandatory tool.
