Central Asian Transactions on Materials Structure and Properties is a peer-reviewed open-access journal published in the Republic of Kazakhstan and dedicated to fundamental and applied research in the field of materials science, materials engineering, structural analysis, as well as physical and mechanical properties of materials.

The journal covers a wide range of topics including metallic and non-metallic materials, composites, nanomaterials, advanced functional materials, material processing technologies, structural characterization, mechanical behavior, fracture mechanics, and durability of materials.

Since 2026, the journal continues the scientific and academic legacy of the journal “D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University Bulletin”, originally established in 1999.

The journal provides open access to all published articles and adheres to international ethical standards of scholarly publishing, ensuring transparency, quality, and global dissemination of research results.
