Journal Ethics Statement
Central Asian Transactions on Materials Structure and Properties adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics and follows internationally recognized guidelines, including COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and ICMJE.
1. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors
- Originality: manuscripts must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration by other journals.
- Plagiarism: all sources and ideas of other authors must be properly cited; manuscripts are screened for plagiarism.
- Authorship: authorship is limited to individuals who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the research. All authors must agree to the submission and approve the final version.
- Conflict of Interest: any financial or personal relationships that could influence the research must be disclosed.
- Data Integrity: authors are responsible for the accuracy of data and results; fabrication and falsification are prohibited.
- Use of AI Tools: if generative AI tools were used in manuscript preparation, this must be disclosed, including the name of the tool and the purpose of use. Authors remain fully responsible for content accuracy.
2. Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Confidentiality: manuscripts are treated as confidential documents.
- Objectivity: reviews must be unbiased and constructive, with well-reasoned recommendations.
- Conflict of Interest: reviewers must decline review if a personal, professional, or financial conflict exists.
- Timeliness: reviews should be completed within the agreed timeframe.
3. Ethical Responsibilities of Editors
- Editors ensure that all manuscripts are handled fairly and confidentially.
- Editors are responsible for decision-making based on scientific quality, relevance, and adherence to ethical standards.
- Editors must avoid conflicts of interest and ensure that reviews are conducted objectively.
- Editors have the responsibility to act in cases of suspected misconduct, plagiarism, or unethical practices.
4. Publication Ethics and Misconduct
- Plagiarism (text, images, or data)

5. Open Access and Copyright
All articles are published in Open Access under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0) license, allowing free use and adaptation with proper attribution. Authors retain copyright while granting the journal the right to publish.
