Peer Review Policy

EKTU Journal of Information and Communication Sciences employs a rigorous peer review process, to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of the research it publishes. All submitted manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review, in which both the authors and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.

The peer review process evaluates the manuscript based on the following criteria:

  • Originality and significance of the research
  • Scientific and methodological rigor
  • Clarity and coherence of presentation
  • Relevance to the journal’s scope and audience
  • Ethical compliance

Typically, each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. Reviewers provide constructive feedback and recommend whether the manuscript should be accepted, revised, or rejected. The journal’s editorial board makes the final decision based on reviewers’ comments and recommendations.

This policy ensures that published articles meet high academic standards and contribute valuable knowledge to the field of information and communication sciences.
