EKTU Journal of Information and Communication Sciences is a peer-reviewed open-access journal published in Kazakhstan dedicated to fundamental and applied research in the fields of information technologies, communication systems, computer science, cybersecurity, automation, control systems, and digital engineering.

The journal publishes original research and review articles covering a wide range of topics, including artificial intelligence and machine learning, data science and big data analytics, information security and cybersecurity, communication networks and wireless technologies, signal processing, embedded and cyber-physical systems, Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, automation and control systems, software engineering, and digital transformation of industry and society.

Since 2026, the journal continues the legacy of the journal “D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University Bulletin”, which was originally established in 1999.

The journal provides open access to all published articles and adheres to international ethical standards of scholarly publishing, ensuring transparency, quality, and global dissemination of research results.
