Peer Review Policy

The journal EKTU Journal of Architectural and Construction Sciences applies a rigorous peer review system to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific validity of all published articles. The journal employs a double-blind peer review system, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.

Key aspects of the review process:

  • Each submitted manuscript is initially evaluated by the editorial team for relevance to the journal’s scope, length, and compliance with formatting requirements.
  • Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to at least two independent reviewers, with expertise in the relevant field.
  • Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, scientific rigor, clarity of presentation, methodology, ethical compliance, and contribution to the field.
  • Based on reviewer feedback, the editorial board makes a decision to accept, request revisions, or reject the manuscript.
  • Authors are encouraged to carefully address all reviewer comments when revising their manuscript.
  • The journal aims to complete the peer review process within 4–6 weeks from the date of submission.

This process ensures transparency, academic integrity, and constructive feedback, helping authors improve their work and maintain high publication standards.
