Author Guidelines

This section (“For Authors”) contains the Authors Guidelines, submission instructions, and publication rules.

1. Publication Languages

• Articles in Kazakh, Russian, and English. are accepted for publication.

2. General Requirements

Only original manuscripts are accepted for consideration, which:

• have not been previously published;
• are not under consideration by other journals;
• meet the text originality requirements: at least 65% originality, with an allowable similarity level of no more than 25%.

3. Types of Submissions

The journal accepts:

• original research articles;
• review articles.

4. Article Structure

Authors are encouraged to format the manuscript according to the international IMRAD structure. The main sections of the article are:

• Introduction;
• Literature Review;
• Materials and Methods;
• Results and Discussion;
• Conclusion;
• References.

5. Length and Formatting

• Article length: 10 to 14 pages (excluding author information, abstract, keywords, and references).
• File format: .doc / .docx
• File size: no more than 20 MB
• Font: Palatino Linotype
• Main text font size: 10 pt
• Line spacing: single
• Margins: 3 cm on all sides
• Alignment: justified
• Paragraph indent: 1 cm

6. Title Page

The title page must include:

• GRNTI code;
• article title;
• full names of the authors;
• affiliations;
• e-mail of the corresponding author;
• authors’ ORCID IDs;
• abstract;
• keywords.

7. Abstract and Keywords

• Abstract: 150–250 words
• Keywords: 5–8 words or phrases

The abstract should reflect the relevance, purpose, methods, results, and significance of the research.

8. Figures, Tables, and Formulas

• All figures and tables must be numbered and provided with titles.
• Figures must be of high quality and suitable for printing.
• Tables must be editable and prepared using Microsoft Word tools.
• Formulas should be prepared using Microsoft Equation or MathType.

9. Citations and References

• In-text citations must follow the APA 7th edition.
• The reference list must contain at least 15 sources.
• At least 5 sources must be international.
• The allowable level of self-citation must not exceed 20%.
• For Russian- and Kazakh-language sources in an English-language article, transliteration and translation in accordance with the established requirements are mandatory.

10. Additional Mandatory Sections

The following sections must be included at the end of the article:

• conflict of interest;
• funding;
• ethical approval statement (if applicable);
• informed consent statement (if applicable);
• data availability statement;
• acknowledgements;
• disclosure of the use of artificial intelligence technologies (if applicable).

11. Author Information

After the reference list, author information must be provided in three languages: full name, academic degree, institution, city, country, e-mail, ORCID, as well as the author’s photograph in accordance with the journal’s requirements.

12. Submission of Manuscripts

Manuscripts are submitted through the journal’s online system.

The editorial board strongly recommends that authors use the article template available on the journal website, as a mandatory tool.

13. Open Access and APC

• The journal is open access under the CC BY 4.0 license
• Article Processing Charge (APC): 50 000 KZT per accepted article
• APC payment is required after acceptance
