Abstract

Ransomware represents one of the most serious threats in the field of cybersecurity, exerting a devastating impact on private users, businesses, and government institutions. This review article examines modern methods of ransomware decryption, including brute-force techniques, vulnerability analysis, the use of specialized decryptors, and machine learning methods. A comparative analysis of the effectiveness, resource requirements, and limitations of each method is conducted. Special attention is given to the role of artificial intelligence in the development and improvement of decryption methods, as well as the prospects for creating more efficient and universal solutions to counter the ransomware threat.
