Abstract

The movement of gas and gas-liquid mixture in a gas-lift well is considered. Numerical simulation of a one-dimensional model of the gas lift process is carried out, in which the movement in the gas lift shaft is described by partial differential equations of hyperbolic type. Difference schemes were developed for a model of the gas lift process on a grid of uneven thickening near the boundaries of subdomains occupied by gas, liquid and gas-liquid mixture. The results of the proposed algorithm are illustrated by the example of a single oil well.
