Abstract. The article discusses the issues of mining reserves on the flanks of the Zhezkazgan deposit and the Annensky ore field, where the main ore production is concentrated, to a depth of 500 m in deposits with an inclination angle from 15° to 35° or more degrees. This article examined the possibility of re-extraction of ores using the example of individual technical blocks (Bl.15-15 south of the Ann-5-I deposit, block Bl.15 of the Ann-3-II deposit, Ann-3-I, Blocks 22-23-24 deposits Ann-3-II, 3-I, and production block Bl. 54 deposits Ann-3-II, 2-IV, Block 7 bis deposits Ann-2-II, Bl. 89bis) according to their location with the solution of assigned tasks and implementation through their solutions from the point of view of theoretical, experimental and numerical modeling. Based on the study, the possibilities of re-mining the remaining ore reserves were considered, the negative impact of the deformation processes of the displacement trough on mining workings was revealed, the order and sequence of involving reserves during mining in specific blocks considered was determined, as well as, based on a technical and economic calculation, the involvement of more reserves in mining effective.
