SELF-AWARENESS OF STUDENTS

Abstract

In this paper, a study of the self-knowledge of elementary school students of the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical  university is considered. The study of this process is important in the formation and development of personality. The importance of self-knowledge for personal development and professional growth is the beginning of this process, which is an integral criterion for the formation of the younger generation. The contradiction between the requirements of society for the education of young people not only as a professional person, but also as a person and a one-sided learning process. The process of self-discovery is, first of all, inner harmony, as well as a condition for finding the men-tal and physical health of young people. In our study of this process, we understand, on the one hand, how the student develops himself as a person, and on the other-as a result of his becoming a professional. The purpose of the work is to study the level of self knowledge of young people and to reveal the importance of self-knowledge in the process of their personal and professional self-determination. Based on the research, the work reveals the ways in which this process affects personal development, self-education, professional growth, psychological well-being, academic and scientific success, and the choice of a future profession. The practical significance of the research is aimed at improving the personal and professional development of students.
