Abstract

To conduct experimental studies and numerical experiments on the heat transfer process, based on the analysis of the design of devices with a tubular packing of a regular structure with external and internal arrangement of collectors, an apparatus with a regular packing made in the form of a system of continuously and sequentially connected pipes of the same diameter inside the device body was created. A simple zone scheme is proposed, which allows obtaining a system of linear equations for the temperatures of the coolants in the selected zones of the device. The solution to the resulting system of equations satisfies the heat balances in the device. The distribution of the temperatures of the coolants along the device shows that the limiting stage of the heat exchange process is heat exchange from the gas side to the heat exchange surface. To eliminate this limiting stage, it is necessary that the area of the heat exchange surface on the gas side be greater than the area of heat exchange on the liquid side as many times as the heat transfer coefficient from the gas side hg is less than the heat transfer coefficient of the liquid coolant hl to the inner surface of the pipe.
